Where Connection and Growth Begin

I still remember being in grade one when my teacher brought out a fresh pack of plasticine — what we now call Play-Doh. There was something simple but magical about it. The invitation to create something brand new, something that had never existed before, felt full of possibility. More than that, I remember her warmth and genuine interest as she joined us — how safe and encouraged I felt in that moment.
That memory has stayed with me. It reminds me that play isn’t just about fun — it’s about connection, curiosity, and feeling seen. Through play, children naturally explore their emotions, solve problems, and discover their strengths.
In my counselling work with children and youth, I draw on child-centred, play-based approaches to create that same sense of safety and openness. Play becomes a bridge between thoughts and feelings — a space where healing and growth can take root. My goal is to offer an environment where each child can express themselves freely, build confidence, and feel supported as they navigate their world.
“Inspired by the wonder of play, rooted in the power of relationship in a child-youth centred place.”
