About me
With over 15 years of experience as a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC) and Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) I have helped support children, teens, adults and families through change, grief, trauma and the everyday complexities of being human.
I have extensive experience in youth mental health and have worked as a school counsellor for many years, staying close to the realities young people face: social pressure, sensory stress, learning differences, and big emotions.
I also provided counselling for the Naramata Fire Department, supporting staff and volunteers. In this role, I provided confidential emotional care for post‑incident support, critical‑incident debriefs, grief and loss support, connection to community resources, and presence at milestones and memorials. In essence, care for the people who often care for everyone else.
I currently live in Kelowna, BC, with my partner and our two children.

You can expect a steady, warm, and collaborative space where you’re met with dignity—not rushed or judged. We’ll move at your pace, clarify goals together, and blend approaches that fit you, drawing on relational and trauma‑informed work along with practical tools for between sessions. I also bring a lightness and sense of humour when it’s welcome, making our work human and grounded.
For kids and teens, sessions are play‑based and sensory‑aware, making room for movement, art, story, imagination—and moments of fun.
Start with a free 15‑minute online consultation to ask questions, get a feel for fit, and explore next steps, or book a full session right away. In our first session, we’ll map what brings you here, name your goals, review consent and boundaries, and agree on a plan and pace that feels right.
For parents/caregivers of children/teens, please plan to book a session prior to counselling for your child.
As a client, you have the right to confidentiality and your privacy matters for all therapeutic relationships.
What you share with me is confidential and used only for your care. There are a few legal limits to confidentiality—such as risk of serious harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse/neglect of a child or vulnerable person, or a court order—and I’ll explain these clearly when we meet. You have the right to ask questions, set boundaries, access your record, request corrections, decide who (if anyone) is involved in your care, and end counselling at any time. I safeguard your information with secure, privacy‑compliant practices.
